We believe that Outreach is an essential part of our faith and, therefore, among the most critical activities at Trinity United Methodist Church. John Wesley believed Christians could not have authentic personal holiness without social holiness. He said, “I look upon all the world as my parish” and “do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the souls you can, in every place you can, at all the times you can, with all the zeal you can, as long as ever you can.”

TRINITY’S TREASURES

Trinity’s Treasures is always prepared to help families and individuals in need when they often need it most.

With little or no notice, they have always been there to assist people who have come to the community dinner but often need more than just a warm meal.

If you have not visited the 2nd floor of the educational building, you’re in for a surprise. Four rooms of meticulously folded and sorted clothing for all ages and sizes, games, accessories, you name it.

TRINITY’S TABLE

Trinity United Methodist Church’s volunteers run a weekly soup kitchen happily called Trinity’s Table. They offer their time, talent, and energy; they are our greatest asset. Our Soup Kitchen program is funded by free-will donations from faith-filled people and the support of our doers and donors.

Our volunteers are members of the church, community groups, business volunteer organizations, and members of other religious organizations. Together they seek to make all our guests feel welcome.

Since that April of 2017, over 20,000 meals have been served. Approximately 80% are take-outs to six local motels and several other groups in need each Tuesday evening.

FOOD PANTRY

Sharing food is an efficient way to show someone the love of God. Jesus himself fed people who were hungry and in need. We learn that he provided thousands and used it as an opportunity to share how God was and is the true bread of life.  

We provide food, free of charge, to families and individuals in need. Neighbors are provided an assortment of fresh and non-perishable items and may visit our Food Pantry every Tuesday. 

Last year, our food pantry served more than 3000 families.
